Highlights
Sri Sanskriti Dance Academy presented its first ever dance drama. The script by Kokila Kalahasti, set to music by Jayalakshmi Subramanian, is a rare script that was last presented decades ago, with the renowed Rukmini Arundale in the audience. This dance drama featured artistic director Prabha Raghavan, guest artist Ravi Mony, Radhika Kurella, and over 15 senior dancers of the academy.

Rangoli- Colours of India 2009 |

Click HERE for photo's of the event
Highlights:
Back by popular demand, Rangoli once again swept the stage and the hearts of the GTA community. We had another full house, and we were able to raise over $60,000 to support disabled children in India. From the hills of Mizoram, to the deserts of Rajasthan; from the coconut trees of Kerala to Maharashtra's harbour, Rangoli was a celebration of the colours of India. With authentic costumes and music, students of Sri Sanskriti Dance Academy under the direction and choreography of Prabha Raghavan performed lively folk dances from India's states. The hard work and dedication put in by the students paid off, and the sold out event was a huge hit!
